Eclipse 4. M3
Comment 1 Patrik Suzzi CLA 2016-11-18 21:14:48 EST
I can reproduce the issue neither with Oxygen (4.7) I20161108-1015 nor with Neon (4.6.2) M20161116-1100.

Could you please tell which version of eclipse you have (Ctrl+3>Copy Build Id) and which extra plug-ins you installed (if any)?

Can you provide a series of steps to reproduce the issue starting from a fresh instance of Eclipse?

Thanks for reporting

I created a new instance of Eclise without the plugins, and it did not duplicate the reported object.

Yes, is what I suspected, it's probably one of the plug-ins messing up.

Could you please install the components one by one and tell us after which plug-in install you see the duplicated "Capabilities"?

Could you please provide me the download link you used to download Eclipse Java EE IDE for Web Developers, Version: Oxygen Release Milestone 3 (4.7.0 M3) ?

Thanks for helping us in making Eclipse better.

As per the guidelines I passed, I installed one by one the components and always checked if there was anything duplicated, so far no longer found the "Capabilities".

The link I downloaded is this:

https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/technology/epp/downloads/release/oxygen/M3/eclipse-jee-oxygen-M3-linux-gtk-x86_64.tar.gz

Thank you very much and thank you for contributing with Eclipse and I hope to contribute more.
