we would not be able to fix this with-out some notification from SWT for 
system colour/theme changes

Making this bug dependant on bug 13813 (SWT notification) but there would 
still be work required in UI to make use of it - therefore moving back to UI.

Kim, I had requested the ability to reconfigure an instance of an SWT color that was no longer valid, such as a System color. Would this enhancement to Color help UI in any way? Basically, if any clients are holding onto the java object, the object would be updated for free, and its use would reflect the new system color. However, if any clients have set the color to a widget, the color's handle is transfered and changing it's handle would have no effect. So it's only useful for custom drawn widgets.
