Subject: Problems with Tasks View... From: miriamf@us.ibm.com (Miriam Ford) Newsgroups: eclipse.tools Organization: IBM Date: Oct 15 2001 13:25:11 Hello, When creating a task the user can only enter a description, but no Resource, In Folder or Location. Also, the priority can't be set until after the task is created by doing a left mouse click, but sometimes the pull down menu that should be displayed doesn't come up right away and the user has to keep on clicking to see it come up. Sometimes, the pull down menu comes up right away after clicking the mouse. DS> It sounds like the user would like a dialog, rather than the interactive mode we currently offer. Another problem is that the user can delete incomplete tasks that were added by the user but not errors added by the editors, compilers, etc. Shouldn't this function behave the same for user created tasks or tasks created by editors, compilers, etc? DS> This is a bit confusing. The user doesn't create errors. They are just an artifact of your existing code. I will query more. Please let me know if these are bugs that will be worked out for future builds of eclipse. Thanks,
Dialog has been added.
