Description Jelle Raaijmakers CLA 2016-07-19 05:35:47 EDT
Using tycho-p2-director-plugin version 0.25.0 (which was not an option in the version list above).

The materialize-products goal writes to an "artifacts.xml" file in the root of the product. I'm building a custom Eclipse distribution which has an artifacts.xml of about 300 KB in size. During the execution of the goal, I can see the artifacts.xml file written to over and over again. I can see the file size increase in file explorer. This does not seem like an efficient way to write that file, and resolving this issue might help reducing the time this goal takes.
