"Welcome" view is blank, there is no content.

OS: openSUSE 42.1

I had the same issue on ubuntu linux, I solved by installing libwebkitgtk-3.0-0

Note: libwebkit2gtk is different w.r.t libwebkitgtk. So, if you have the first only you still need to install the second. 

Please, let me knwo if this solved the issue.

Yes, it works after installing libwebkitgtk-3_0-0.
