Created attachment 262588 [details] Shows missing file tabs Many of the file tabs frequently disappear, necessitating a redraw by minimizing and then maximizing the window, or running the mouse pointer along the line of tabs (a la a piano glissando), or in some other manner to force a redraw.
The report does not provide enough information to reproduce the bug. Please, provide us detailed information, as : - which eclipse version are you using - detailed steps to reproduce the issue. Thanks for reporting.

Created attachment 262718 [details] Shows visible tabs after re-drawing them.
I am using RAD 9.1.1.1 with Eclipse Platform 4.2.1. To reproduce, 1. Open Eclipse on Windows 7. 2. Open some files. 3. I frequently work in the Java or Java EE perspectives, though it doesn't matter. 4. Open another application, such as Windows Explorer, and grab it with the mouse and move it around when on top of Eclipse, making sure to obscure the file tabs. 5. You will see that a number of tabs have disappeared and need to be redrawn. 6. The same thing occurs with the perspective tabs generally shown in the lower right window of Eclipse (Problems, Console, Search, etc.) Please see screenshot attachments. I do not have the latest Eclipse version, but I did not find a bug covering this in my search.

Adding Markus in c/c as he might be interested in this.
This seems to be specific to RAD, as I recently switched to Eclipse Luna (4.4.2) and am not experiencing this issue. I am on Win7 Enterprise, SP1.
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie.
