Clean window

Good afternoon,

 I installed Eclipse IDE Mars2 software. I was going to create new java project but it was impossible. My first try was by right button of mouse with option "New > Java Project". Nothing has done. Next try by "File > New > Java Project". Again. Then I tried "File > New > Project..." and there I choose Java Project, selected it and pressed "Next". There was no inputs, no informations, just description of window: "Enter a project name.". And finally I think there is no way to create new Java Project for me. Isn't it? To provide proof I am update here a screen-shot, where you can see clean window of creating new java project.

What distribution are you using? GTK3 support in Ubuntu 16.04 is broken for Mars, and you should launch with SWT_GTK3=0 in your environment, or configure your eclipse.ini. There are some details here:

Otherwise, please attach your .log file here?

This bug needs info since a long time.

Can you reproduce the issue with Eclipse Neon?

If so, can you try the following workaround:
$ export SWT_GTK3=0 before running $ ./eclipse

Please, let us know if this was fixed.
Thanks for reporting!

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
