Description Christopher Guindon CLA 2016-05-12 10:52:09 EDT
I started working on the user dashboard this morning. I will probably want to allow some people form the community and Eclipse staff to review the site while I am working on this.

I am thinking this could be useful for Brian de Alwis and Antoine Thomas in particular.

After talking with Matt, it looks like econtest2 is the closest thing to what we are going to have on production. We should probably use this.

Matt, if we pick econtest2 for this, I will need you to add a new vhost entry for this site in puppet and set the proper permissions for /localsite/staging.eclipse.org/user to allow me to build this new site with pdrush.

I've created a vhost for user-staging.eclipse.org, so you should be able start your deployment to /localsite/user-staging.eclipse.org . DNS has been updated, but it'll take a while to propagate.

Thanks Matt!

Since we moved accounts.eclipse.org on api-vm's 2 weeks ago, can we do the same for the staging site?

I would like to replicate what we have on production.

Thanks for setting this up for us.

We are currently using https://accounts-staging.eclipse.org/ for the user dashboard. We haven't decided to separate the user dashboard from the account site.

If we do decide to split them off, it's going to be in q4 once with start focusing on the back-end again.
