I think it would be very helpful (and cool), if we could specify the category for Quick Access to search. 

Maybe separated by a column, e.g., 

Views:Git -> Should find all views with Git in the name
Commands:Java -> Should find all commands with Java

What do others think about this idea?

Sounds cool!

Once this is done a further improvement could be to enable autocompletion on Categories, as an example:
1. Type "Per"
2. <CTRL+SPACE> 
3. --> autocompletion to "Perspective:"

Mass move to 4.6 RC1. We might push out more to 4.7.
