Overview: While using the 'window toolbar visibility' feature I noticed that maximizing a view causes the minimized views to appear on the toolbar again. In order to reproduce this behaviour: 1) Start with the window toolbars visible 2) Maximize a view 3) Hide the window toolbars using "Toggle visibility of the window toolbars" 4) Restore the view 5) Maximize the view again Actual Results: The window toolbar will appear again with the minimized windows. The bottom toolbar (assuming it has no minimized views) will stay hidden. The feature description on the New and Noteworthy page says: "If you minimize a stack after you selected this command, the minimized stack will be visible until you trigger the command to hide the toolbars again. This allows you to decide which minimized stacks are currently useful for you." - which makes sense, however in this scenario I'm not explicitly minimizing the views, they just get minimized as a side effect of maximizing the other view. Expected Results: The window toolbar should continue hidden. Build Date & Hardware: Build 20160329-0659 Neon Milestone 6 (4.6.0M6) Linux Gtk 3.18.9-1
I can not reproduce the issue with the following configuration: Eclipse SDK Version: Oxygen (4.7) Build id: I20160731-2000 OS: Linux, v.4.4.0-31-generic, x86_64 / gtk 3.18.9 Could you please try to reproduce in a more recent version, Like Neon ?
Any update here?
