Progress view takes up a lot of space on the screen (very little information is displayed and sprayed out on 3/4 lines of text).

It would be much better to have a more compact representation of each progressing task (maybe putting the description as an overlay of the progress bar). 

Ideally it would be great to have an option if the preferences to turn it into a "compact mode" one-line view. 

(In my setup, Progress View is always displayed on the screen. So, having a more compact view will save some space and will prevent me from having to enlarge/shrink the view all the time).
