I installed the latest version of Eclipse from the download section and the latest JDK. I can code java no problem. After shutting down my 2015 Macbook Pro and rebooting once needed, I can no longer open eclipse because it disappears on me. When i click the files i create to open them I end up with it opening in Adobe CC flash builder. 

When I install eclipse again it saves all of the configurations for Eclipse ie: Coder, Purpose and Current Date comments section. I went to my help desk at school and said I should contact the developers of Eclipse to heal with my issue.

Please provide the information below

1) Which version of eclipse have you installed?
2) Did you use the eclipse installer or did you unzip the package?
3) In which folder did you install eclipse and what happens to the folder after system reboot?

I have not been able to reproduce the issue. If you still face this issue, please provide additional information for the questions in Comment 1
