right end of each label is not falling in line but spaced unevenly relative to each other

When using Serif font the labels in chart appear to be floating . The labels need to be right justified , despite explicitly setting the alignment via script and trimming  the label value for any possible extra spaces , labels still do not fall in line. In the attached example upon closer examination ,it can be seen that right end of each label is not falling in line but spaced unevenly relative to each other.
