Recently, I have been using a desktop Linux system running on a laptop powered by a Tegra K1. So far this system has proven remarkably able, most software is functional without performance losses when compared with my x86 laptop. It is very possible for more desktop hardware of this kind to reach the market in the near future. However, running Eclipse on this kind of system does not seem at all straightforward. At best I can try to compile it myself. There are a few questions requesting easier options to install Eclipse on ARM systems, meaning that demand is brewing up for a more conventional solution. Please study the hypothesis of providing a pre-compiled version of the Workbench for recent ARM architectures such as the Tegra K1. Thank you.
My appologies for the spam. When I wrote "there a few questions", I meant questions on places such as StsckExchange and other web fora. Cheers.
