+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #402464 +++

According to the Javadoc ViewerSorter should not be used, and ViewerComparator should be used instead. We should replace the usage of ViewerSorter with ViewerComparator in platform.ui

Of course we cannot delete API.
