One can see at the right side and at the bottom of some views (see screenshot), that there are unnecessary dashed lines. They should not be there.

This appears when using a light theme too.

GNOME 3.16 introduced scroll bars that are usually hidden, appearing as overlays only when the mouse pointer is above them: <https://help.gnome.org/misc/release-notes/3.16/>. Dashed lines drawn at the edge of the viewport serve as a visual hint that there's more content currently scrolled off-screen. To my eyes, the unnecessary dashed lines in Eclipse look just like those off-screen-content indicator dashed lines. Perhaps Eclipse/Gtk's widget geometry is being managed in such a way that accidentally causes these indicator lines to appear everywhere, even when there's really nothing to scroll?

Can you still see the issue with Eclipse Neon ?

The extra dashed lines are gone under Neon when using a default light theme. I don't use a dark theme so I can't speak to that.

Thanks Ben!

IIRC, the unnecessary dashed lines had effect both in light and in dark theme. If the issue is solved in light theme, I assume it's solved also in dark.
Hence, I'm going to close this bug as worksforme.

Please, re-open in case you see the dashed lines when you switch to dark theme!
