Description Stefan Xenos CLA 2015-05-05 15:59:26 EDT
Eclipse 4.5
I20150504-2000
Running on Ubunutu, GTK

Regularly while using Eclipse, my keybindings stop working. Cursor control works and I can type in the editor, but I cannot use ctrl-s to save, ctrl-shift-t to open type, ctrl-a to select all, etc. Switching editor tabs restores the missing bindings.

The problem starts intermittently. I can often use Eclipse for hours before the problem starts... but once it happens the first time, it's easily reproducible.

For example, at one point I would lose the bindings every time I close a dialog box. Once it happened the first time, I'd lose my bindings every time I closed a dialog box. However, after restarting Eclipse the problem would be reproduced via a different trigger.

In another instance, I would lose my bindings every time I ran the code formatter via ctrl-shift-f.

Thanks Stefan, I think that is a dup of Bug 435742.
