Description Oyvind Harboe CLA 2003-11-06 04:01:30 EST
It would be nice to somehow use the quickdiff against CVS information to cut
down on amount of mouse-jockying to navigate the source code.

- Easily navigate files that have been changed
- Easily navigate the spots within the files where changes have been made

Navigating the source code is a high frequency activity.

The navigation problems can be somewhat addressed by setting up the navigation
preferences (e.g. the up/down arrows in the java editor) to consider diff
changes. However, it's really mouse intensive to show/merge the changes. I've
talked to Tom about this already and understand that this should be improved.

I suggest to close this bug and continue the discussion in bug 43603, as some of
the points mentioned there already cover the issues mentioned in comment 0.
