The quickaccess field is great and is starting to be used more and more by our users to find out what Eclipse can do. One thing I recently realized is that very few knows about eclipse help search feature. Today you have to take up a full view to search in help, I was wondering if we shouldn't hook in Help search to quick access. Simply make it an option to choose. Today I type "what is Dali" I will get "No matches". How about in the "No matches" case we provide direct link to search in help ? Possibly in future have a "Help" section like there are for commands etc. to look up in topics ?
Created attachment 263580 [details] anim gif: proposed solution That is an interesting idea. Please, see the anim gif with an example of the proposed solution "in action".

(In reply to Eclipse Genie from comment #2) > New Gerrit change created: https://git.eclipse.org/r/79016 Any update on this Patrik? Would be nice to have this for M2.
As you suggested, now the search is always available. Please see a preview here: http://i.imgur.com/INyld9d.gif The mechanism of adding extra entries is extensible. So, in future, we might think to add other search options.
By The Way, it works also with the standalone dialog, and thanks to the tooltip-color fix, it looks great! please see: http://imgur.com/5FYeBio.gif
