If one uses automatic build and in a file the only change is placing 'f' after a value passed to a method to make it a float, eclipse won't rebuild the file and project.

Do you edit Java or C++ source file? What is your Eclipse version?

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.
