Description Bill Napier CLA 2003-10-20 14:13:35 EDT
The dialog box for "Add CVS Repository" when adding a new repository location
requires the entry of a username in the username field. In our setup, we
don't need to provide a username to the client. It is actually preferable to
not specify the username, since those settings are stored completly ourside of
Eclipse.

We accesses our cvs repository using plink with paegent for authentication.
With this setup, the username is redundant and we would prefer not to enter it.

The Eclipse CVS client already supports locations without usernames but the UI
doesn't so this may not be a lot of work. However, given that there is a work
around, this is not high priority.
