Sometimes, when I perform a UI action such as saving a file shortly after opening Eclipse, I get a dialog titled "User Operation is Waiting", with the message:

  The user operation is waiting for "Build workspace" to complete.

I can close the dialog, but the file doesn't actually get saved until the "Build workspace" operation completes, which can often take several minutes.

This is a poor user experience. Does saving the file really have to wait for the build to complete?

I think that is a dup of Bug 329657.
