We have barely enough information to do more than just "assuming".
It reminds me of this https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=440653 which got fixed in august and was visible when Equinox could not untangle a circular initialization.

Please upgrade to Sirius 1.0.1 https://www.eclipse.org/sirius/download.html and tell us if the problem exists with the 1.0.1 too or not.
