The Team File Content preference page allows to specify how file content should be stored in the CVS repository. Unfortunately this overrides the settings specified in the file "cvswrappers". Also the "automatic behaviour" for not defined extensions results always to a binary checkin, ignoring the server setting. This behaviour is not only counterproductive, it also faulty, since sometimes content relies on the "-kkv" switch. 1. The CVS server settings MUST be used in any case. 2. Configuration of server side issues in the client are wrong -> remove that preference page.
I agree that we should consider the server wrappers file. However, client side overrides are possible via the .cvswrappers.
