Version 4.4 of the Eclipse Platform still has some performance and functional shortcomings compared to the old 3.x generation of the platform. We will work to root out and eliminate remaining bugs to increase the overall quality and performance of the 4.x generation platform.


NOTE: This was already a 4.4 plan item (bug 422467) but it got deferred.

This was a plan item. Is it OK to set this already as fixed? Dani committed this already in the plan for 4.5.
