Hi,

unfortunately it is not possible to open a terminal from the package explorer.

https://code.google.com/p/elt/ has this and it is really useful.

Could you please have a look at this issue?

Best regards, Jennifer

Reproduced:

- Pressing Ctrl+Alt+T with a file-selection in Project Explorer opens a terminal
on the selected folder as expected.

- Doing the same with a selection in package explorer only opens the Terminal
  in my home directory.

It looks like we need to try and adapt the selection to IResource rather than just taking IResource. This will be tracked by this issue. This looks like a simple fix for a potential new contributor - added the bugday keyword.

In order to make the workflow easier, we already have bug 435158 (Ctrl+Alt+T without intermediate dialog) as well as bug 435015 (Show In > Local Terminal).

Thank you for your fast reply. It would be nice to get this functionality added.
