In our RCP application, we would like to use Tabbed Properties in the right side of the perspective rather than at the bottom. To accommodate this placement and make use of screen space efficiently, it would be better to have the tabs of the view at the bottom of the content area, rather than in the left side. The Tabbed Properties view currently supports only left alignment for the tabs, however.
