Some items in the workbench menubar have strange checkmarks (E.g. File > Save,
Edit > Copy, ...). I guess the checks sometimes appear when the action's
shortcut has been pressed.

If this is really some profiling information, please add a preference to switch
it on (default: off).

Steps:
- start eclipse with new workspace
- press Ctrl+F4
=> File > Close is checked, but shouldn't be

Duplicate of 43321.  Patch has already been released to HEAD.
