GTK 2 theme: adwaita
GTK 2 vesion: 2.24.22

Hyperlinks are colored in dark blue, while the background is black. This makes it very hard to see what the hyperlink text is.

In theory yes, practically there is already a style for Hyperlink/Link/ImageHyperlink widgets in the dark theme, it is assigned by the CSS engine but it is not painted (for some kind of hyperlinks, eg. Link widgets, the hard-coded value from the OS is used, for the other ones is painted the color that is assigned by the user in Preferences for hyperlinks)
