Description David Williams CLA 2014-03-13 11:31:43 EDT
Going though the past several years of "editing" the Release Name on the splash screen image, and knowing it may be desired to change in future (even for maintenance releases), it would be better if it was a "configured string", much like "buildId" is in the Eclipse SDK.

This would also give us the ability to easily change, say to "Luna (4.4)" if desire in future -- or, what ever other "name" people wanted to give it. Plus, in future, if the "image changed", it'd be easier to "place" the Release name where it made the most sense for a given image ... perhaps on top, left aligned, or what ever.

(Thought I'd better open this now, in case anyone has time to work on it before M7!) :)
