Description Georg Sendt CLA 2003-09-11 10:24:31 EDT
sometimes Eclipse has no memory left and wants to shutdown (internal Error Popup)

during shutdown-process a popup comes up with "save all error:null"-message.

after restarting Eclipse the workbench cannot restored and the initial workbench
appeared.

Eclipse-BuildID: 200306271545
System: Linux 2.4.10-4GB

if necessary I can provide Eclipse Configuration-Details

--- ---
Additional Hints:
I use the editor feature "local rename" on a moderate lenght SourceDocument
and then memory exhausted

I don't know the internals of Eclipse writing metadata about workbench
and others to filesystem. But it is possible to have a transactional database
instead of the filesystem in future releases of eclipse?
