Description Chris Pheby CLA 2014-02-05 05:02:36 EST
On a faceted project, select Properties and then Project Facets.

If you attempt to select the Java Facet, then version 1.8 is not available (with the Eclipse Java 8 support) 1.0.0.v20140205-0104_BETA_JAVA8
Comment 1 Chris Pheby CLA 2014-02-05 06:05:15 EST
Updating issue to Major because this means you can't use Java 8 correctly with a faceted project e.g. a JPA project.

Is this a duplicate of bug 426884?
Comment 3 Chris Pheby CLA 2014-02-05 08:14:23 EST
It seems the same, but is this a WTP issue, its not a web project?
Comment 4 Stephan Herrmann CLA 2014-02-05 16:21:36 EST
AFAIK JPA support is also provided under the WTP umrella.
Moreover the Faceted Project Framework is part of WTP :)
