Created attachment 238109 [details] this is how it looks like for me Hi, I have OpenSUSE Factory installed, i.e. all the latest packages. When I run eclipse with SWT_GTK3=1 I get a workbench that looks like in the attached screenshot. It's completely broken, and you can't do anything with it. Also note the mouse cursor!
Created attachment 238157 [details] screenshot of workbench with GTK3 Since the 4.4 M3,(GTK3 as default) I have the same Issue. With export SWT_GTK3=0 it runs as usual. I'm running ArchLinux using GTK3 3.10.5-1

Michael, are you also running with GTK version 3.10? This could be an issue specific to the more recent GTK 3 updates. I have GTK 3.4.2 on Ubuntu 12.04 and I don't see these kind of issues at all. Will try to test and confirm with a more recent GTK 3 version.
Arun, I do run with 3.8 on one machine and it's pretty good. With 3.10 (soon to be released Fedora 20, beta is out) I see empty CTabs but haven't found the reason yet.

Created attachment 238631 [details] workbench with GTK3 on OpenSuse12.3 This is how it looked on my machine. Icons (e.g. for debugging) have a large border and take more space than needed. Still seemed to work at least. However, workbench freezes completely when debugging.
