Numerous times I haven't noticed that a progress bar is in effect because it's located in the lower-right corner of the screen. Please have all progress bars be front and centered [e.g., "Building workspace: (nn%)", "Refreshing workspace: (nn%)", "Refresh SVN status cache", etc.]. -- Configuration Details -- Product: Eclipse 2.0.0.20130613-0530 (org.eclipse.epp.package.jee.product) Installed Features: org.eclipse.jdt 3.9.1.v20130911-1000

By "front", you mean a dialog on top?
Yes, on top.

Thanks but 'Window | Preferences | General | Always run in background' was already unchecked.
