I often has the following use-case: I click on a resource on filesystem and then use "Import > Existing Project into Workspace". I wish this would immediatly select the currently selected resource as the path to the project. And by default, it seems to open the workspace folder.

What do you think about making default value being path to the selected resource when it is a folder?

PS: this is a process I use in order to workaround ability to deal with nested projects. Cf https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=245412
