Hello! I haven't submitted to this task list before - do let me know if I should re-categorize. I've been using Eclipse for about ten years now, and have become very proficient with it's keyboard shortcuts. So much so that I admire the platform's ability to support touch-typing without using a mouse! The past few releases for Mac OS X have a few issues where the keyboard focus seems to be lost. For instance, I'll find myself in a state where Eclipse won't respond to keyboard shortcuts (such as CTRL-M to maximize a window). As I've been tracking this issue, I've noticed that if I quickly APPLE-TAB to another application and back to Eclipse then Eclipse will respond as normal. A quick way to reproduce this issue is to maximize the current editor and, while the editor is maximized, close all open editors. Let me know if I can provide more information! Eric -- Configuration Details -- Product: Eclipse 2.0.1.20130919-0803 (org.eclipse.epp.package.jee.product) Installed Features: org.eclipse.platform 4.3.1.v20130911-1000
I cannot reproduce the bug on Windows 7, so it seems to be Mac OS X specific.
