Description Paul Webster CLA 2013-08-19 16:11:10 EDT
If a plugin defines a context in org.eclipse.ui.contexts and that plugin is removed (uninstalled, closed) we don't clean up the model in that case.

https://git.eclipse.org/r/15755

Preliminary attempt to remove contexts that aren't defined anymore.

I don't think this is enough, though. The binding context maps to an MBindingTable, and so if a Context goes away its matching MBindingTable should also go away. That's a pretty large change for 4.3.1, and potentially would wipe out user keybindings if I delete a whole MBindingTable.

I've deferred this to Luna.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
