I was typing "MyClass.method" but I had to stop at "MyClass.m" for a while, and a bit later I typed the whole word "method" but Eclipse was still telling me that the method "m" does not exist.
Could you please provide more info. Which build are you using? Did you compile or save with autobuild inbetween? Please be aware that the reconciler runs after you have stopped typing with a delay of 500ms.
I'm using Eclipse 2.1, but I updated it so it's tecnically 2.1.1. I waited more than 500ms and it was still saying to me the method was wrong. I found 2 ways to stop that message: - save the project; - or... delete a piece of the text I inputed before typeing the rest of the method's label, like: myObject.jum[this method does not exist (or something like that)] myObject.jump(n)[this method does not exist (or something like that)] myObject.ju myObject.jump(n)
Could you please provide exact steps to reproduce.
