Appeared in the current release of Kepler Pressing Alt+Control+E causes the frame to focus and unfocus for a couple of seconds, then the char "€" is being printed (as intended) in the textarea and then a menu at the bottom right of eclipse is being displayed saying: Merge Ctrl + Alt + E Show in File Manager Ctrl + Alt + E Would be great if that could be fixed for us europeans =) If you need any more details, just let me know. Great job with Kepler by the way! Regards, Dustin

Yes please. I can't reproduce on my Windows 7 machine with a Swiss German keyboard. 1. download http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops4/R-4.3-201306052000/ 2. start new workspace 3. paste "class Foo {}" into the 'Package Explorer' 4. type Ctrl+Alt+E or AltGr+E to enter '€' I also tried in the text editor without any problems.
Ok the bug was caused by my old workspace, created a new one and reimported my projects. Everything is working properly now. Can't really tell you how to reproduce it, but I think this is not a severe bug... Thanks for your help and your quick answer =) Regards, Dustin
