When starting eclipse, I have the opportunity to choose a workspace. It works well. But to select it, it needs 3 clicks. It would be great to replace the dropdown by an array (or a list) of workspace, reducing the startup from 3 to 1 click: Adding a new workspace would be the existing option. Graphically, it *could* be: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx x x History: x Workspace 1 [=>go] [forget it] x Workspace 2 [=>go] [forget it] x Workspace 3 [=>go] [forget it] x x Go to another one: x [ Please select the path to the workspace ] x x [Create a new one] x xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Other graphical design is also ok, of course... :-) Adding the opportunity to specify an alias and/or an icon could be good to ("une cerise sur le gateau"), but really not necessary. Thanks in advance.
What do the maintainers think about this? I think this would be a great enhancement, and would like to work on this, if we can agree on a design (I'm ok with the proposed design).
Jan-Ove is working on this bug. I suggest to add also a button to the laucher which allows to delete workspaces from the selection (and drop-down) list.

Awesome. This will simplify the workflow of people using multiple workspaces. Thanks a bunch Jan-Ove.
