After bug 35973 has been closed as unfixable due to a too big scope, I hereby suggest a specific concern related to that bug as still not being fixed.

While projects can be organized in working sets, this is only a two level organisation. Without knowing the internals I still think that putting not only projects into working sets, but also working sets themselves, this might help organizing very large (>> 100 projects) work spaces.

This has nothing to do with physical location on disk or with inheriting attributes, it should be a comparably simple feature for very large work spaces.
