Your right it doesn't. I just looked at the 2.5.3 update too and it's related to OpenID which we don't use either:

Perhaps updating isn't worth it right now, we should maybe wait till 2.6 which I heard is coming out soonish anyways.

Per bug 408640 comment 20 and bug 408640 comment 21 I'd like to schedule this around 3pm today for LTS as well.

We'll be upgrading to version 2.6.1 of Gerrit.
