4.3 M7, but nothing new, I think. The Synchronize view takes forever to show changes when there are many (~8000) changed files. Test Case: 0. have a workspace with lots of shared projects (I have > 100) NOTE: this seems important. With an empty workspace it worked fine 1. clone ssh://git.eclipse.org/gitroot/jdt/eclipse.jdt.ui.git 2. import 'org.eclipse.jdt.ui.tests.refactoring' 3. change all files in /org.eclipse.jdt.ui.tests.refactoring/resources e.g. by replacing "package" with "test" (change 6936 files) 4. select the project in the Package Explorer 5. context menu > Team > Synchronize ==> takes forever
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. If the bug is still relevant, please remove the stalebug whiteboard tag.
