The second patch set of https://git.eclipse.org/r/#/c/12087/ has the commiter "Unspecified" in the task editor, but the web ui shows "Gerrit Code Review." I think this may be a regression.

I don't think this is a regression per se, except that it used to say "Anonymous" and now it says "Unspecified". I guess there is a subtle distinction in there :), but in any case, what it means is that we're getting a user identity but it doesn't have an account ID attached to it. Since that is what is used to match up all of the accounts with each other under both the remote API and the previous design, it would require a good deal of engineering to work around this. I'm not sure what the Web UI does here..

I recall filing a similar bug and it being fixed so that it would say "Gerrit Code Review" when that was the committer, but maybe I'm misremembering.

So noting that a fix is actually pretty complex, and we can't hardcode this, so I'm going to leave it off of 2.0 for now, but we'll still try to get it in for the release.
