From 2.4.0 to 2.5.0, there were performance regressions(3-12%) in JPAReadAllEmployee tests in the emulated database run (JPAEmulatedIsolatedPerformanceRegressionModel).

JPAReadAllEmployeePerformanceComparisonTest-readonly:false - 8%
JPAReadAllEmployeeCompletelyPerformanceComparisonTest-readonly:false - 12%
JPAReadAllEmployeeCompletelyJoinedPerformanceComparisonTest-readonly:false - 3%

The only new thing I noticed on the profile was,

0.6% - 299 ms - 33,700 inv. org.eclipse.persistence.descriptors.FetchGroupManager.unionEntityFetchGroupIntoObject

This was not done in 2.4, so it is at least a part of the regression.
