Description Jerome Lanneluc CLA 2003-07-17 07:07:38 EDT
Build 20030716

I started a 20030716 workspace with build 20030716, and found out that some key
bindings (such as Ctrl-S or Ctrl-shift-F4) don't work any longer. Some others
such as Ctrl-space still work.

I tried to play with the preferences, but with no success.

I recreated a workspace from scratch and the key bindings seem to now work.

I have zipped my workspace if you need it.

Just one observation: it seems that the short-cut key event goes to the last
active window.

Jerome do you think this could be a dup of bug 40303?
Comment 3 Jerome Lanneluc CLA 2003-07-17 10:58:52 EDT
Yes, this sounds like it. I had the same file opened in the Java perspective
and the Debug perspective. The 2 editors for this file were not dirty. I opened
another editor on another file in the Java perspective, made some change, and
tried to save it.

As Erich said, the short-cut key event goes to the wrong window. Doing a Ctrl-
Shift-F4 in the Java perspective closes the editors in the Debug perspective.
