As a report designer I would like to source parameter values from the cube directly. Currently it seems to be only possible to source parameter values from a data set. 
BIRT 360 already allows to source parameter values from the cube, I think it is necessary to implement the same functionality in the BIRT Eclipse report designer. To me this seems like a more consistent approach.
