Description Grant Gayed CLA 2012-12-11 15:33:38 EST
- running on Fedora 17
- 4.3M4 test build, observed on both x86 and x86_64

This could be an issue with the theme being used rather than anything that swt is doing, but this is different from the behaviour of GTK2-based Eclipse on the same machine.

To see the behaviour just run Control Example, go to either the Table, Tree or List page, and uncheck Enabled. This will disable the example control's functionality, but its visual appearance does not change. Hopefully there's something that SWT can do to influence this behaviour, because there are some contexts in Eclipse where this is confusing.

I cannot reproduce this bug on Ubuntu 12.04 as well as on Fedora 17 with 4.3 build id I20130122-0800 (both platforms were x86_64 with the default GTK themes being used). Closing as WORKSFORME, can be reopened if needed.
