Description Yiping Zhao CLA 2012-11-05 11:00:10 EST
Now jpa/beanvalidation tests are working on servers, the tests passed on jpa2.0 containers like WebSphere 8.0 & 8.5, WebLogic 12.1.1 & main and GlassFish 3.1.2 & 4. The tests are not suitable for running on jpa1.0 containers, these jpa1.0 containers don't have beanvalidation api jars and validator provider jar. WebSphere 7 installed on nightly test machine has jpa2.0 feature pack installed, but it needs a lot of steps to get this beanvalidation feature work; weblogic 10.3.5patch and weblogic 10.3.6patch have jpa2.0 enabled, but it doesn't have validation api and validator provider jars, I have copied the api and validator provider jars from WebLogic 12.1.1 install to WebLogic 10.3.5patch install, but it simply doesn't work. So I don't want to put more time on websphere 7 and weblogic 10.3.5patch & 10.3.6patch, enter bug here to record these known 7 test failures.
