Illustration of the actual vs. desired behaviour of "contributes"

Working with EPF, I miss a certain feature of the editor: to be able to customize the way the "contributes" content variability option works.

To be more precise, it would be nice if the "contributes" content variability would not simply append the contributed contents at the end (which is the default - and pretty logical as well!). There is often the need to be able to move contents around, so that the they are organized in a "readable", logical way. Just like content elements in a custom category may be sorted manually or automatically.

I also posted a question in the EPF forum here: http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/372042/

The attached screenshot illustrates an example where this enhancement would be nice to have.

By the way, this also applies to every place where content variability is enabled in EPF (eg. contributing task/role/work product content etc).

Yeah, in custom category , the content elements may be sorted when use contribute, just like the task, but all the text attributes can only be add to the end. But I think it reasonal, "contribute" don't mean to modify you basic text, besides, it is hard for epf to express where the appendant text should be placed
